Opalescence PF Teeth Whitening Refills Gel

Contents:

2 syringes, 1.2 ml each. Each syringe is sufficient for 2–3 applications.

One box is sufficient for 4–6 days of use. A complete whitening course lasts 14 days.

Directions for Use:

(A custom whitening tray made by a dentist is required and is not included with the product.)

• Brush your teeth thoroughly before use.
• Apply the gel evenly along your custom dental tray.
• Fit the tray securely over your teeth.
• Gently remove any excess gel from your gums using a soft toothbrush.
• After the recommended time, brush your teeth using water and a toothbrush.
• Make sure no gel remains on your teeth or gums.

Recommended Wearing Time:

10% — 8–10 hours
15% — 4–6 hours
20% — 2–4 hours
35% — 30–60 minutes

Use once daily for 14 consecutive days to complete one whitening course. If you wish to achieve better results after completing the course, you may repeat the treatment.

How Does Teeth Whitening Gel Work?

Tooth stains can be classified as either extrinsic or intrinsic. Extrinsic stains appear on the surface of the teeth, while intrinsic stains develop within microscopic cracks in the enamel and deeper inside the dentin.

Whitening toothpastes and mouthwashes may remove some surface stains. However, only teeth whitening gel can remove stubborn intrinsic stains that cause tooth discoloration.

The gel contains an active whitening ingredient—either carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide—that penetrates the enamel and reaches the internal stain molecules. Oxygen molecules then react with these stains and break the bonds holding them inside the tooth. As the oxygen molecules spread, the entire tooth is whitened, resulting in a brighter, whiter smile.
